Dielo sa s nadsázkou snaží nájsť podstatu tragédie ako dramatickej formy. Čo ak jej znaky možno vystopovať aj v najbanálnejších situáciách? Čo sa stane, keď tragédiu postavíme do kontextu obyčajnosti a každodennosti? Ak by sme pripustili, že viac ako miera utrpenia dodáva tragédii jej napätie práve obsah a hĺbka vnútorného konfliktu hlavnej postavy. Nezvrátiteľný osud, ktorému sa hrdina snaží vzdorovať a vybojovať tak svoj zápas, ktorý nemôže nikdy vyhrať. Externé okolnosti môžu zrazu donútiť hrdinu konať v rozpore s jeho morálnymi štandardmi. A práve vtedy sa rodí tragédia. A niekedy sa môže stať, že uprostred pokojnej noci, keď spíš, vynorí sa z tmy.

The work tries to find the essence of tragedy as a dramatic form with exaggeration. What if its signs can be traced even in the most banal situations? What happens when we place tragedy in the context of the ordinary and everyday? If we were to admit that more than the amount of suffering, the content and depth of the main character’s internal conflict give tragedy its tension. An irreversible fate that the hero tries to resist and thus fight his fight that he can never win. External circumstances can suddenly force the hero to act contrary to his moral standards. And that’s when tragedy is born. And sometimes it can happen that in the middle of a quiet night, when you are sleeping, he emerges from the darkness.
