PO-OTVORENIE
Dielo „Po-otvorenie“ ponúka nahliadnutie do vnútorného sveta autorstva, ktoré sa častokrát cíti až príliš vzdušné a cudzie vo fyzickej realite. Lenka Vallová v tejto multimediálnej inštalácii prepája rôzne audio-vizuálne prvky, ktoré premieta na nadrozmernú autorskú textíliu, v kombinácii s vlastnou poéziou a prírodnými artefaktmi. Textilne zasahuje do nájdených predmetov, napr. okrúhliakov, naplaveného dreva a mušieľ, ktoré si prináša pri návštevách z lesných katedrál alebo riečnych pobreží. Poetická inštalácia je zraniteľným pokusom o kladenie si otázok o tom, ako môže vyzerať naša duchovná prax oslobodená od kontextu inštitucionálnych tradícií, či ako nanovo uchopiť svoje vlastné miesto vo vesmíre.
A GENTLE OPENING
The artwork “A Gentle Opening” provides an oportunity to look into the artist´s utmost inner world, which to them often seems too airy and foreign in this physical reality. In this multimedial installation Lenka Vallová interconnects various visual and audible elements projected onto an authorial fiber work accompanied by their own poetry and other different artifacts. The artist combines textile techniques with objets trouvés from nature, e.g. pebbles, driftwood and shells, which they often bring from their visits to forest cathedrals or riverbank sanctuaries. This poetic installation is a vulnerable attempt at asking the question of how can our spiritual practices look like when freed from institutional traditions and how to reclaim our interconnectedness with the eternal everything.
