Androidne torzo, vytvorené z elektrotechnického odpadu umiestnené v čiernej vitríne vystupuje ako „budúci artefakt minulosti“ – ako objekt archeologického bádania. Kladie otázku o našej hodnote v dobe dátových extrakcií, náš vzťah k vlastnej identite, telu a údajom. Pracuje s retro sci-fi estetikou, vizuálnymi predstavami o budúcnosti z druhej polovice 20. storočia a vizualizuje technologický vývoj, ktorý prekonal mnohé z týchto dávnych fantázií.

An android torso made of electronic waste, placed inside a black display case, appears as a “future artifact of the past” — an object of archaeological inquiry. It raises questions about human value in an era of data extraction and about our relationship to our own identity, the body and information. The work draws on retro sci-fi aesthetics and visual imaginaries of the future from the second half of the 20th century, visualizing a technological development that has already surpassed many of these earlier fantasies.
